A WORK IN PROGRESS - This family tree is the work of several years which began with  the efforts of three sisters; my two aunts and my mother (Julia Barthes, Rita Barthes, and Cleo Barthes), for the purpose of bringing together details of our family before  it was too late to have that first hand knowledge which was greatly appreciated.  Previously, a  link to the Balius Family website was included.  However, that link is no longer working.  At any  rate, a big thank you is extended for the work in documenting so many valuable details about the  Balius line.

A family tree is always growing as new members are born or marry into one of the families.  Sadly; through death, some members have passed on in life but their memory is still with us and will always be cherished.
